Welcome to Stonebreaker Country Lodge in Cango Valley`s picturesque Schoemanspoort, 15 km from Oudtshoorn, en route the world famous Cango Caves. Stonebreaker is a 4 star accredited country lodge.
Our thatched lodge is fitted with modern conveniences and offers you safe off-road parking. Twelve elegantly furnished en suite rooms, with an African ambience, make you really feel at home. The luxurious honeymoon and family suites promise you a special unforgettable experience of a peace and comfort retreat in nature.
Lunch and dinner on request, as well as a traditional barbecue. (Home cooked dinner, leg of Karoo super lamb, bobotie, tomato stew, kudu steak, ostrich fillet, ostrich neck and other ostrich dishes). Also at the cosy Old Mill Restaurant across the river.
Breakfast included: Buffet or Set menu.
Sundowners & Refreshments: Cocktails, milkshakes, coffees or tea are available on the deck or at the swimming pool, while enjoying our relaxing views or beautiful sunsets.
We are famous for our personal attention and unique Klein Karoo hospitality. It is our way of sharing the blessings of this charming paradise with you.
A half an hour walk on our own succulent trail will work up your appetite for a hearty traditional farm-style breakfast in the African dining room or on the open-air deck. Lunch and dinner are available on request, including a traditional barbeque on the thatched covered stoep, or a three-course meal at the cosy Old Mill restaurant across the nearby river.
Listen to the peaceful murmur of the river while you relax in the sparkling swimming pool with unspoilt views on the surrounding mountains and some grazing game. From the nearby mountains you may hear the distinct whistle call of the Klipspringer in the moonlight or at sunrise.
