Our business is hospitality and we take this to a new level of excellence at our unique and beautiful lodge which is nestled against the Eastern Head of the Knysna lagoon, where the famous sea Captain John Benn II cottage once stood. We offer eight beautifully appointed suites, for clientele with discerning taste and who enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings.
Our suites are luxuriously appointed, tastefully furnished, some bathrooms with spa baths, rain head showers and; under floor heating. The suites all have satellite television, telephones, terry robes. Our guests comfort and relaxation is our priority, the beds are finest quality, with down feather pillows and comforters. Complimentary tea and coffee trays are conveniently placed in all the suites. A mini bar refrigerator is also provided in the suites and is stocked upon request with guests specific requirements (the guest is billed for mini bar stock). Special requests for a particular brand of liquor guests would like, we will stock or place in the guests suite for their arrival. Any other special request will gladly be attended to and billed to guest. The views are spectacular across the Knysna estuary towards the majestic Outeniqua Mountains. One can watch the ebb and flow of the tides into and out of the Knysna Lagoon in awe of the sheer volume of water flowing through twice a day.
Guests enjoy the understated luxury of our bar, sipping a cocktail while getting to know other guests. There is also a separate lounge area for those guests who want peace and quiet. Nightly at the bar pre dinner snacks are served, while relaxing with friends. Our pool deck is conveniently situated on the same level and the guests can take a break and sip a cocktail, and if the conditions are right, watch dolphins swimming in the lagoon.
Wake up to a generous English and continental breakfast served in the sun-splashed central atrium, which overlooks the pool deck and lagoon.

For the keen walker there are many beautiful hiking trails. Game lovers can see elephant at Knysna's own elephant park. Across the lagoon by ferry, experience the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Here one can see the famous Knysna Loerie and the special Seahorse that nests in the lagoon. Many water sports such as yachting, skiing and diving the Heads exist for the active traveller. Or one can experience fine dining at one of Knysna's many eateries, maybe take a sunset cruise and just enjoy the tranquil atmosphere that places Knysna far above the rest.
