Description: Luxury and convenience with an overlay of old-style elegance just about sums up Brighton Lodge.
It offers the discerning traveller an elegant mix of a Grecian, Colonial and Victorian era with all modern facilities you’ve come to expect. Of special pride are the gardens, a subtropical riot of palms, ferns and creepers that festoon the pool area and delight the eye in all seasons.
Brighton Lodge has 10 self-contained suites, all different in character, each with a coherent decorative theme. Their names give them away. Victorian, Roman (with some Grecian elements), Old Cape, Cottage, Mauritian, La Rochelle (French provincial), Animalia (the veld and its game), Out of Africa, Classic Country and Nautical. Most are graced by genuine and rather lovely antique pieces of one sort or another.
The accent is on untroubled and supremely comfortable privacy. Most Suites have walk-in access to a small secluded, high-walled, sunlit and florally marvelous patio – running water provides a soothing refrain.
Brighton Lodge, situated within walking distance from Port Elizabeth's beautiful sandy beaches, combines flexible spacious accommodation with old-fashioned hospitality.
