Diemersfontein Wine and Country Estate has a total of 14 en suite bedrooms set around the magnificent gardens, as well as accommodation in our three estate cottages – Blue Gum, Hanepoot and Tulani – each with their own fireplace, kitchenette and verandah overlooking the vineyards and lake.
All rooms and cottages are furnished in a comfortable country style and are ideal for those preferring privacy and independence. There is an option of single or double beds throughout. Guests are welcome to enjoy the facilities available at this wonderful third generation family estate.
From leisurely lazing around the swimming pool, to horse riding, mountain bike trails and walks for the more energetic and wine tastings, you are ensured of an enjoyable and relaxing time at Diemersfontein.
Keen golfers will be reassured that there are eight courses within half an hour’s drive. Nearby facilities for visitors include four wine routes and a variety of other attractions.
The popular towns of Franschoek, Tulbagh, Paarl and Stellenbosch are within 30/40 minutes drive. Diemersfontein serves as an ideal base for exploring the attractions of the Winelands.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the a la Carte menu changes in tandem with our four seasons and offers patrons the opportunity to order main courses as starters and visa versa. Seasons on Sundays, during winter, brings together family and friends over a great 2 course meal at prices that warm the heart – R75 pp excluding the wine. Guests during summer can eat outside on the balcony or at the piazza and enjoy the views across the pastures and farm lake, with mountain ranges as a backdrop.
Food and Wine pairing ‘experiences’ can be booked through Seasons for a minimum of 6 people. Bertus Fourie, winemaker to the award-winning range of wines, in collaboration with Brigitte, have given the Food and Wine pairing experience their own unique signature, making the occasion something well worth the 45min drive to Diemersfontein in Wellington.
