The Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge is a beautiful and unique getaway haven for those in search of peace and tranquility.
Situated in the safe and secure village of Kosmos, with the most outstanding views, not only over the Hartbeespoort Dam but also the Magaliesberg Mountain Range.
The calmness of nature overwhelms you when you sit and listen to the call of the fish eagle or the baboons barking in the mountains.
We are only a 45 minute drive from most of Gauteng with its hustle and bustle.
If you stay with us for a business visit to the area, we are in easy reach of the town of Brits with all the motor and mining industry, Sun City and Pilanesberg game reserve are less than one hours drive away.
Imagine sitting at the breakfast table using all your senses, looking at the view, listening to nature, tasting the delicious cooked breakfast, feeling totally refreshed after a wonderful nights rest.
We try to make your stay here as peaceful as possible and for that reason we unfortunatly do not cater for children or pets; this is the weekend when you leave the kids with granny or friends and have a romantic time.
There are six beautiful luxury en-suite rooms, of which four have jacuzzi / spa baths in the bedrooms. The other two beautiful suites have showers only. All suites have TVs and tea and coffee facilities.
There are four separate braai areas in the garden.
There is also a beautiful rock swimming pool for your relaxation.
There is a six seater jacuzzi in the bar area, also with stunning views over the dam.
For the business traveller in the week, dinner can be served on request.
For the romantic weekend breakaway, why not order a picnic basket and enjoy it in the comfort of your suite.
The Serengeti Room is a typical bushveld room, on the ground floor, giving you a feeling of total relaxation. The room has a full bathroom with an open romantic shower with wood finishes and a cosy double bed with tea & coffee facilities.
The Chobe Room is a ground floor suite with a view over the dam.
The room has a full bathroom with a shower and a cosy double bed with tea & coffee facilities available.
The Chobe Suite has got a TV with SABC 1, 2 & 3, etv & two DStv channels.
The Okovango Suite is on the first floor with a huge private balcony overlooking the beautiful Hartbeespoort Dam. The Okovango Suite has a full bathroom with it's own corner cosy spa bath for two. The room has a romantic double bed, tea and coffee facilities and a stocked mini bar fridge with a TV showing SABC 1, 2 & 3, etv & two DStv channels.
The Zambesi Suite is a huge ultra luxury room on the first floor with a small private balcony overlooking the Hartbeespoort Dam.
The Zambezi suite has a full bathroom with a cosy spa bath & shower with wood finishes, a cosy double bed (with a view overlooking the dam), coffee and tea facilities & a TV with SABC 1, 2 & 3, etv and two DStv channels.
The Timbivati Suite is our honeymoon suite, privately tucked away with a view over the swimming pool, on the ground floor.The Timbivati Suite is very romantic, with it's electric fire place and wall heater - for the cosy winter or rainynights.The Timbivati Suite has a full bathroom with a spa bath and cosy shower with wood finishes, with tea and coffee facilities , a stocked bar fridge and a microwave.
It has a king size double bed - fit for a King & Queen!
It has a TV with SABC 1, 2 & 3, etv and two DStv channels. It has a small electronic safe for your private use.
