Description: The reserve has 140 Hectares of coastal thicket and Fynbos with 900m of rocky coastline on the South coast of the Western Cape.
A wide variety of veld flowers belonging to the Cape floral kingdom can be found. Many medium sized mammals are present in and among the fynbos. The local bird population allows fascinating bird watching.
Accomodation is provided in two self catering chalets.
The chalets are situated on the waters edge in exclusive and private surroundings and the guest house is in the centre of the reserve.
The larger chalet comprises three double bedrooms with main en suite and a second bathroom for the other two. The second chalet has two double bedrooms, sharing a bathroom.
The Chalets are fully equiped including bedding and towels, but bring your own swimming towels please. Braai facility is available, but you need to bring your own fire wood. For small children (<2yrs) no charge is levied provided own bedding is supplied. Bedding can be obtained from us at a nominal charge of R25. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed. Anglers should provide bait from outside since nothing is allowed to be taken from the inter tidal zone.
