Wayfarers Guest House which is situated in a quiet street, 900 meters from the centre of Sabie, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.
The five large guest bedrooms are, bright, airy and comfortable with many personal touches added.
Breakfast is served in the dinning room which has been furnished in a distinctive rural style.
When not out enjoying the wonderful local scenery, guests can relax in our magnificently appointed lounge where full DSTV bouquet is available, or enjoy a sundowner under the gazebo in our spacious garden
Wayfarers is situated within an hours drive of the Kruger National Park and a short drive from a nine hole golf course. .
There is plenty of secure parking available at the rear of the property.
Sabie is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful area. Day trips can be taken to see the Blyde Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Gods Window, the Pinnacle and the many waterfalls, including Lisbon, Berlin and Mac-Mac Falls. Lone Creek Falls was declared a National Monument in 1983. There is a 200-metre walk through lush indigenous forest to this 68 metre high waterfall.
A beautiful hours walk takes you to the lovely Forest Falls. Mac-Mac pools is a delightful picnic spot where one can swim, walk or just relax in a peaceful atmosphere. Pilgrims Rest, an original gold mining town, can be explored where you can view the old shops, houses and you can even try your luck at panning for gold.
An hour’s drive takes you to the famous Kruger Park. Northwards towards Hoedspruit is the Cheetah Research Project, Moholoholo wildlife rehabilitation centre, the Mokwalo white lion breeding centre and Tsanini Silk Farm. Nelspruit, capital of Mpumalanga is 45 minutes south of Sabie, where one can see the Sudwala caves, beautiful Botanical Gardens and Rottcher Wineries.
For the sporting and adventurous there are many activities, from hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, golf and fishing to river rafting, hot air ballooning and caving for the adrenaline junkies.
