Jan Harmsgat Guest Farm (circa 1723)is located on the R60 north west of the historic town of Swellendam and south of the Marloth Nature Reserve.
This area contains the famous four passes, all with fantastic views and awe inspiring rock formations.
Guests are treated to understated elegance and comfort, combining the power of its original 1-metre thick walls, yellow wood details and authentic "Overberg" style. Every modern convenience is offered.
The guest house, bed and breakfast accommodation (which is non smoking) is in understated elegance and comfort in the farms original slave quarters, and consists of four large en-suite rooms with an adjoining lounge.
Two loft rooms and the guest lounge boast expansive mountain views. Guests may relax by the pool with a book from our extensive library or explore the farm and surrounding wine routes, as well as museums and heritage sites in nearby Swellendam and surrounding areas.

The Cottage is ideal for couples with young children, or groups of 4, who would enjoy being completely private. The cottage has two double rooms and shares a single bathroom. Separate kitchen available for self-catering. If required, baby sitting can be arranged either in the cottage or at the main house, where you would normally have dinner.
