The historic Nottingham Road Hotel, known countrywide as ?Notties?, was opened on this premises in 1854 and is the oldest country pub in KwaZulu ?Natal. The existing building dated back to 1889 and still offers the character and charm of days gone by.
The trout waters of the area are rich in insect life all year long, which allows for healthy fast growing trout which do not need to be artificially fed.
Landowners are extremely environmentally conscious, and the breeding habitats of endangered species such as Blue, Wattled and Crowned Cranes, the Oribi antelope and Secretary Birds are protected and preserved as precious assets.
We have access to abundant private trout fishing waters that will whet the appetite of any fisherman.
