Description:
Skilpadvlei is the ideal getaway for nature lovers with the surrounding vineyards and trees being the natural habitat of a variety of birds. You can also fish black bass in the farm dam, or take a hike between the vineyards and enjoy all the panoramic views that the farm offers.
For the kids there are plenty of open spaces to play in and get rid of all that extra energy. There are also a variety of animals in the petting park to keep them entertained.
Every cottage has a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, linen and towels, a television and private barbeque area on the patio.

We have a restaurant on the farm that is open every day from 07:30- 18:00.The restaurant serve the most delicious African cuisine and is child friendly.
Skilpadvlei also boasts excellent conference facilities catering for up to a 120 delegates. Any conference can be fully catered to your specific needs and those of the delegates. The conference facilities are fully equipped and also fully air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter.
Skilpadvlei is situated just 8 kms from Stellenbosch on the M12. So those delegates not staying on the farm can easily find accommodation. Skilpadvlei staff members can pre-arrange all accommodation at preferential rates in guest houses in the area or Stellenbosch.
