We are close enough to the village to walk (1km)but far enough away to be in the country! Walk to neighboring wine cellars Manley's and Rijk's.
Our cottages are named after some of the exquisite bird life that surround the villa.
Cottages:
Blue Crane Cottage: (accommodates 4 people)
Blue Crane cottage offers spectacular views from a private veranda that overlooks a dam, the gardens and the Witzenburg Mountains.
This charming, two bedroom cottage exudes warmth. Creamy yellows and contrasting earth tones create a simple elegance while the numerous windows capture the morning sun and crisp fresh air. The Italian style bathroom provides a separate shower and bath, wide mirror and lavish basin.
The master bedroom is outfitted with King Bed, white washed french headboards and end tables, a personal vanity and ample cupboard space. The second bedroom has two single beds, storage space and personal vanity.
Fish eagle Cottage: (Accommodates up to 4 people).
This private oasis of comfort is nestled in the garden. Romantic pastels and calming creams create a warm and inviting setting for the perfect country escape. King bed and cozy chairs provide the perfect reading spot or linger on the patio while enjoying some wine and a braai.
Rich, antique dark woods and spaciousness in the bedroom complete the "cottage-comfort" feel.
Egyptian Goose Cottage: (Accommodates 2 people)
Both spacious and cozy Egyptian Goose has a true cottage atmosphere. Soft woods, lovely carpets and warm colors make this cottage captivate and delight.
Creamy tiles, a sparkling shower and an elegant basin define the bathroom. Curl up in the queen size bed or relax next to the fire on the welcoming couch.
Breakfast is served on your veranda or in your cottage at the time you request.
Awake each morning to crisp, fresh air and a gourmet breakfast. Start your day with fresh coffee, tea, juice and perhaps fresh tropical fruit salad with a yogurt parfait.. or a hot english style breakfast with rosemary potatoes and garlic mushrooms... or decadent stuffed french toast with crisp bacon and fruit.
