Melkboomsdrift Guest House which was built circa 1820 is located between Vredendal and Lutzville just off the N7 on the R363. The guest house is a welcome and convenient stopover for business people and tourists to this beautiful region of the West Coast and Namaqualand.
The Guesthouse is located on the fertile banks of the Olifants River, on the famous South African WEST COAST. This gem of South Africa's WEST COAST, has everything and more to offer the battle-weary businessman or adventurous tourist.
The Guest house proudly boasts seven fully serviced double en-suite rooms and four self-catering units for those who prefer it.
There are a total of 10 units, each with a unique name, to choose from. The units are able to accommodate between 2 to 7 people.
Each suite and self-catering unit is equipped with a fully stocked bar fridge for your convenience. Coffee and tea facilities are available as well - fresh farm milk in your fridge daily and fresh homemade rusks!
Televisions are standard in all suites and include all local channels as well as MNet and DSat. Internet and fax facilities are available on the premises. For the balmy summer months the establishment is equipped with overhead fans and for the chilly winters, there is more than adequate heating in each of the suites.
Upgraded and larger conference facilities have recently been completed at Melkboomsdrift.
The upgraded facilities can accommodate up to 40 delegates and offers up to date equipment and amenities.
