Built in 1860 as a farmhouse and nestled against the majestic Table Mountain, lies one of Cape Town's finest guest houses, The Underberg Guest House.
The Underberg offers nine luxury rooms equipped with with a TV, overhead ceiling fan, heater, tea and coffee facilities, safe, hairdryer.
Breakfast is always a treat at the Underberg Guest House. Fresh fruit salad, and fruit juices, homemade meuseli, marmalade and berry jam, selection of breads and a freshly cooked English breakfast.
There are two lounges to relax in, and two outside verandahs - with a spectucular view of Table Mountain. There is a well stocked library to browse through. For the business person there is WiFi, photocopy, fax facilities and a computer.
There are some great restaurants, pubs and shops and the ever popular Kloof and Long Street all within walking distance.
The Underberg is situated just five minutes away from Cape Town's finest beaches, Table Mountain and the Waterfront. Just a 25minute drive away are the famous Stellenbosch and Franschoek winelands.
