The Outspan Inn is situated at the mouth of the mighty Umzimvubu River, in the village of Port St Johns, which is the only town on South Africa's spectacular Wild Coast. Nestled in tropical gardens, the Inn is separated from the beach by only a belt of coastal bush which is home to numerous species of birds. 120 species have been recorded on the premises.
The Outspan Inn offers you the choice of 10 en-suite B&B and 3 fully equipped self-catering units. All rooms open onto the spacious, child friendly sub-tropical gardens. Our swimming pool is fenced.
We are pet friendly.

The Wild Coast, with its unspoilt beaches, awesome waterfalls, lushly forested landscapes and cultural diversity is one of the world's most spectacular tourist destinations. Protected by its remoteness and previous inaccessibility, this area has long remained undiscovered by the outside world, and today still retains the flavour of the real Africa.
Port St Johns is great for mountain biking, canoeing (we have 20km of flat water, hiking, fishing, exploring Pondo culture.
There is also a nine hole Golf Course.
There is an independently owned restaurant on the premises,and there are other restaurants in the vicinity too, where Wild Coast crayfish can be had.
