Description:
Deer Creek is situated off the R60 (Route 62) between the towns of Robertson and Montagu. It is ideally located for excursions to the surrounding areas, the Winelands, and as the base for exploring Route 62.
The farm is a working fruit and wine farm with a wide variety of crops. Harvesting starts in December and lasts well into May. In March a small amount of wine is made manually the old-fashioned way. Deer Creek boasts breathtaking views across the Breede River Valley to the Riviersonderend Mountains and up to the Langeberg Mountains. Guests can walk around the farm, go hiking or cycling, or just enjoy the peacefulness that surrounds them.
The old farmhouse has been renovated and converted into three luxurious, fully serviced self-catering cottages. A sparkling pool for lazing around in summer and Braai (barbecue) facilities are nestled in the peaceful garden.
Accommodation:
All three units have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, small oven and two-plate stove, and a full bathroom (bath and shower). Linen and towels are supplied, and tea, coffee and milk powder are provided.
All cottages are cleaned daily.
