Welcome to Mt Currie Inn, your “Home from Home” friendly Inn that is situated just outside Kokstad, but right on the main routes between Durban and Pietermaritzburg to the North, and East London to the South.
Mt Currie Inn offers the discerning traveller, tourist or businessman, top class “Three Star” quality accommodation with a family friendliness second to none. Homely and very comfortable accommodation that is set in park like surroundings; we offer a bed & breakfast or A la Carte menu in our congenial restaurant and conference facilities and boardroom for those brain storming or company and business seminars in quite, peaceful surroundings with full dining and bar facilities.
Caravanners, motor home tourists and travellers, during your next weekend or out of season trip through the Transkei, instead of simply stopping to fill-up with petrol, why rush to your destination when you can stop over in one of our very comfortable single, double or family accommodation suites that we offer. You can now make Mt Currie your weekend or out of season pit stop at very attractive rates.
All our rooms, whether Executive or Standard, have TV’s with M-Net, Movie Magic, Supersport and the National Geographic channels, and are arranged in a park-like setting. There are no stairways or steps to climb up or down, and Mt Currie is reasonably wheel chair friendly.
The single, double and family rooms are all very tastefully furnished with single or double beds, sheets, blankets, pillows and bedspreads, with a writing desk, vanity cabinet, wardrobe and side table. The bathroom leads off from the main room and towels are supplied. Each room has an oil filled heater, a telephone, tea & coffee facilities, and an electric blanket is also supplied should the evenings be chilly.
The Mount Currie Inn has three different sized conference venues. Each venue is unique and should meet the needs of most companies.
