The Weavers Nest? is a fully furnished self-catering flat comprising lounge, Kitchen, breakfast bar, bathroom and 2 large bedrooms accommodating up to 6 people. The unit is completely self-contained, and includes colour TV, stove, fridge, microwave oven etc.

Breakfasts can be provided on the patio by special arrangement with your hosts, Jill and Mike Holland.

Nestling in tastefully landscaped gardens set on a hilltop amid 7 acres of fynbos and olive plantation on Great Brak Heights, ?The Weavers Nest? features outstanding sea views to Mossel Bay and the magnificent Outeniqua mountain range. Only 5 minutes drive to the beach, we are ideally situated to enjoy the many and varied holiday pastimes offered by this historically rich and beautiful area of the Garden Route.

Great Brak River is a quaint historic village straddling the river mouth mid-way between the towns of George and Mossel Bay, and offers safe bathing in the warm lagoon as well as vast stretches of unspoiled sandy beaches fringing the Indian Ocean. We are situated within easy reach of a wide variety of restaurants to suit every taste. George airport is only 10 minutes away.

A large number of attractions are within easy reach, including hiking trails in the mountains, indigenous forests and cliff-tops of the Garden Route, mountain bike trails, fishing, surfing, and whale and dolphin watching. Other nearby attractions include some of the highest ?bungi-jumps? in the world, steam train rides on the famous ?Outeniqua Choo-choo?, and numerous world class golf courses. The surrounding area is steeped in the history of the early pioneers and contains many fascinating museums such as the famous Bartholomew Diaz ship museum and the early maritime Post Office Tree in Mossel Bay. Several of the original Thomas Baines mountain passes of the early 19th Century are easily accessible, and offer stupendous views as well as an exciting motoring experience!
