Millgate Cottages are situated amid beautiful countryside just off the R103, between Mooi River and Howick. It is conveniently located for all private schools in the area and is only 5km from Michaelhouse School.
The accommodation at Millgate Cottages comprises of Bed & Breakfast with 3 rooms self-catering.
Millgate has two purpose-built self-catering cottages with fully-fitted and equipped kitchens including microwaves, DSTV, under-floor heating, verandas and braai facilities.
Unit one, that can accommodate up to four people, has a bedroom, en-suite bathroom and living room, with a double-sleeper couch.
Unit two, that can accommodate up to six people, has two bedrooms, separate bathroom and toilet facilities, and a living room with a double-sleeper couch.
Millgate has three bed-and-breakfast suites. The two luxury double units have en-suite bathrooms, and the third is a family unit consisting of two rooms and bathroom. Each unit has heaters, TV Mnet), tea and coffee-making facilities and each bed has an electric blanket. Braai facilities are available on request.
Lulworth Cove sleeps two and has an en-suite bathroom and separate kitchen and breakfast nook. It can be let as B&B or self catering. When let as self catering the rates are R10 per person less than those quoted above for the cottages.
Kimmeridge sleeps four and has a bedroom a bathroom and a bed-sitting room complete with kitchenette. It can be let as B&B or self catering. When let as self catering the rates are R10 per person less than those quoted for the cottages.
Durdle Door has one double bed and one single bed with an en-suite bathroom, and can only be let as B&B.
A full English breakfast includes cereal, bacon, eggs, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, toast, marmalade/jams, fruit juice, tea and coffee.
The Mole and Pig Inn:
Good family food and good drink, including locally-brewed Nottingham Road beers can be enjoyed in the friendly atmosphere of The Mole and Pig Inn, or taken al fresco in Millgate’s lovely garden.
Mini Golf:
Fun for the family and a first in the area, a nine-hole putt-putt course surrounding Millgate’s rose garden.
Long weekends, public holidays and Christmas Holidays we require a minimum of a 2 day booking.
