Description:
The resort is situated within walking distance (500m) of the beach in Pennington, 9Km south of Scottburgh on the Natal South Coast. Durban, Margate and the Wild Coast are within one hour's drive, which makes daily excursions possible.
Several chalets, log cabins, caravan sites, tent sites and a modern, rustic, thatched lodge is situated amongst indigenous trees. A Hostel is also available for groups (the Chalets, log cabins and lodge can also be combined for larger groups). Wild animals such as monkeys, mongoose and many bird species - including loeries and kingfishers can be seen.

Chalets: Basically equipped, self service. Own bathroom/toilet and braai. Bring own bedding and towels. Sleeps 3 to 14 people.
Log Cabins: Basically equipped, self service with use of communal ablutions. No basins in kitchen, out door washing facilities. Bring own bedding and towels. Sleeps 2 to 4 people.
The Boma: The Boma can be hired by groups not staying in the hostel for activities, meetings or to prepare and enjoy meals in the fully equiped kitchen. Full or self catering options available.
Kathela Lodge: A Modern concept constructed from timber and thatch with a bushveld atmosphere. Totally secluded from the rest of the park under indigenous trees with a sundeck view. Mongoose and many types of bird species are observed. Sleeps a total of 14 guests.
Bed & Breakfast: For those passing by and who need to overnight, be our guest in our "out of Africa" B&B Chalet. Breakfast will be served at your leisure or while watching the sunrise from your patio.
