Description:
The Goose and Labrador Bed and Breakfast is situated on a working avocado and macadamia nut farm, surrounded by pine and eucalyptus plantations and natural bush.
The Goose and Labrador Bed and Breakfast offers a range of spacious and comfortably decorated accommodation consisting of three en-suite double bedrooms and four self-catering units.
All the rooms are equipped with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
Pets are welcome.
As well as our sumptuous breakfasts, catered evening meals and picnics or packed meals for day trips (padkos) are available.
The beautiful mountain on the farm is fantastic for hiking, the lush bush is alive with a large variety of birdlife, from kingfishers to eagles.
The trail to the top of the mountain will reward you with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. One can hike or mountain bike up or for an unforgettable experience, 4x4/quadbike up and watch the sun set whilst enjoying snacks and a chilled glass of wine.
Explore the gardens surrounding the bed & breakfast and their wide variety of trees, flowers and birdlife. A blanket, picnic basket and a well chosen shady tree is all thats required for a relaxing lunch. Birdsong and fragrance from the gardens will provide the ambiance.
Tour the farm and learn whats involved in producing quality avocados and macadamia nuts.
Discover the dam surrounded by natural bush, a favorite spot for a picnic lunch, or bring a rod and introduce yourself to a couple of our elusive bass (catch and release naturally!).
