Description:
Built in 1895 and a recent addition to the Legacy Hotels & Resorts International portfolio of luxury hotels, the charming Sunnyside Park Hotel is set in picturesque gardens in the exclusive suburb of Parktown.

Four-star service and facilities combined with a peaceful and secure setting, provide the ideal home from home for the discerning business traveller.

Each of the hotel’s 100 beautifully furnished rooms and eight suites have been equipped with all the key amenities demanded by the corporate client. These include en-suite bathrooms, hairdryers, coffee/tea-making facilities, colour television with DStv, direct-dialing telephones with wake-up call facilities and PC modem points for the business executive wishing to work in the privacy of his room.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the Johannesburg CBD, Rosebank, Sandton and the Johannesburg International Airport.

The recently refurbished Milner’s Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Sunnyside Park Hotel has also become a favourite spot in Johannesburg for conferencing, banqueting and special occasions such as weddings.

The magnificent Ballroom accommodates up to 200 guests and the Gatehouse accommodates up to 100 delegates. The recently refurbished Attic room accommodates up to 60 delegates and for an exclusive club atmosphere the intimate Club room accommodates up to 18.

For an executive meeting or a private dinner, La Chouette accommodates up to 20 guests in stylish comfort.

In order to keep up with the demands of the business executive, the newly-launched business centre provides the necessary office, Internet and secretarial support he may require when travelling.

But probably the most exciting addition to the hotel is the smoking room adjacent to the lounge area where smokers can light up and enjoy the view onto the hotel’s lush gardens.

And for those who enjoy a good workout, the new gym, sporting the latest gym equipment and two steam baths, provides the perfect place in which to unwind.

So, when wishing to relax, grab a book and cognac in the lounge, enjoy a drink or one of the famous pub lunches in the hotel’s Pound & Penny Pub or simply take it easy and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at the poolside.
