In the Clarens Hinterland lies the mountain farm of Groenhoek, nestling in the beautiful valley of the Little Caledon River, which meanders through the majestic Rooiberg mountain range, adjacent to the Malutis and on the outskirts of the Drakensberg.

Flyfishing. The waters of the Little Caledon River (wild trout) and three dams(stocked trout) presents a challenge
Mountain walks. Gentle strolls to exhilarating hikes in the mountains offers breathtaking views
Game and Bird Spotting. Spot the Redchested Cuckoo that calls for rain, the Paradys Flycatcher, the Black Eagles and many more. Eland baboon, rhebuck, jacal, porcupine, the mongoose family and many more are regular visitors to the farm
Mountain Bike. Bring your own or use the bikes on the farm to explore the area and challenge the mountains
Stargazing. One of the biggest open air cinemas will give you the ultimate experience.
