Description: Fountain Baths Guesthouse is set against the Makhonjwa Mountain Range. It is walking distance from town and other historical sites.
It is here that in 1884 the first bath house was built for gold diggers and then later the first swimming pool in the old Transvaal.
The area hosts the oldest geology in the world surrounded by lush green vegetation, and a kaleidoscope of birds and animal life. Part of the oldest rock formation in the world can be found on Fountain Baths' premises. Rare bird species, velvet and samango monkeys, baboons, giant bush babies and the porcupine are regular visitors to this garden.
The accomodation is either B&B or self catering, with en-suite bathrooms. Rooms have been decorated for style and comfort and each has it's own entrance into the lush gardens.TV's in all rooms
