Haycroft Country Farm is a magnificent country estate situated on the Midlands Meander only 7km's from Howick (The hub of the Meander) and Midmar Dam and close enough to the N3. Beautiful rolling lawns, tree lined avenues and views of the mountains and the huge bass dam provide an ideal setting for travellers looking for a place to kick back and relax or for overnighters.
Haycroft Country Farm is a breath of fresh air where you can really unwind and find your haven of peace. Here in the country you set your own pace - relax, renew and refresh with the many facilities on your doorstep.
Nature walks, fishing in the dam, relax in a rowing boat and watch the indigeneous ducks enjoy themselves on the dam, play tennis under the floodlights, take a mountain bike and go for a ride, or try horse riding on the farm - you don't have to be a rider to enjoy horses!
The accommodation comprises of three charming self-contained guest cottages with undercover parking, private entrances and private gardens. All cottages are decorated in soft, natural furnishings. All sheets are 100% organic cotton and extra blankets are provided on request. The cottages have TV and access to DSTV, fully fitted kitchen, braai facilities. We don't have fireplaces in the cottages but heaters are provided. The cottages are serviced daily.
Cottages are ideally self-catering but we do provide a generous and delicious breakfast at the pool terrace for Bed and Breakfast customers. Our homely and friendly atmosphere creates a climate of relaxation and informality without skimping on the little delights like home-baked muffins and fresh milk on arrival.
One double ensuite room is provided for overnight travellers in the main house.
