Twenty minutes north of Durban, Kwa-zulu Natal, lies the Dolphin Coast, now one of South Africa's favourite holiday destinations.
Along this beautiful stretch of coastline lies the famous Thompson's Bay, with its tidal pool, fascinating rock outcrops and bathing beach.
Right across the road from the beach is The Beacon complex which is a very popular complex with 24 hour security, under cover parking, a swimming pool and tennis court.
Unit number 81 is a modern 2 bedroom ground floor unit and is comfortably furnished and has everything you should need for a happy holiday.
The main bedroom with en-suite bathroom contains a double bed whilst the second bedroom contains 2 single beds.
There is a double sleeper coach in the lounge/dining room, which provides additional sleeping facilities for 2 people. (i.e. 6 persons in total). Linen is provided for the beds but not for the sleeper couch.
There is a modern, open-plan kitchen/living area, which leads through a sliding door onto the patio.
Patio furniture and a Weber braai allow you to enjoy the sea view and surrounding gardens. The unit is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, washing machine, microwave, toaster, all utensils and small appliances.
There is also a TV, a DVD player and a DStv satellite decoder. A free-channel DStv smart card is available but to view the full DStv you will need to bring along your own DStv smart card.
A cleaning service is available on request for an additional fee of R50.00 per service per day. This service should be arranged prior to your visit.
Ballito has a Variety of shopping centers and Gateway Theatre of Shopping is only 20 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of fast food outlets, restaurants and pubs nearby.
