Map/Directions to Windswael Bed and BreakfastDirections: From Cape Town: Directions from Cape Town Take the N2 from Cape Town towards George. ( 45km from Somerset West to Botriver). Pass over Sir Lowry`s Pass. Drive straight on. After about +- 20 minutes (you will pass Grabouw) you will pass over the Houw Hoek Pass. As you come down this pass Botriver will be on you left hand side and shortly after you will see a turn off to Hermanus R43 to your left. - Take this off ramp and carry along straight along the R43 Hermanus 31km to Hermanus. You will pass the Kleinmond turn off to you right. Pass Fisherhaven ,Hawston ,Vermont and Onrus turnoffs. *At the Sandbaai / Hemel en Aarde traffic lights, turn right towards the sea. Continue until you come to the first stop street. Turn right into Long Street. Continue further until the first stop street. Windswael Guest House is the last building on your right hand side, 17 Long Street. From Franschoek/Stellenbosch: Directions from FranschoekFrom Franschoek take the R45 towards Villiersdorp (24km). You will reach the Theewaterskloof Dam. OPTION 1: Turn Left and drive VIA Villersdorp. Then take the R43 towards Botriver. (You will turn onto the N2 for a short while) Take the R43 Hermanus - as *above from Cape Town. OPTION 2: Turn right onto the R321 towards Grabouw. You will reach a stop street. Turn Left Towards Hermanus. You will pass over the Houw Hoek Pass. As you come down this pass Botriver will be on you Left hand side and shortly after you will see a turn off to Hermanus R43 to your left. See *Directions from Cape Town From Knysna, George & the Garden route: Directions from Knysna, Take the N2 in the direction of Cape Town. Once you have passed the town of Riviersonderend look out for a sign on your left hand side towards Hermanus R326 - 47km. Turn Left follow the road until you reach STANFORD. You will reach a stop street (there will be a small garage on the right in front of you and on the left a farm stall). Turn RIGHT before going into Stanford. ( 33km). Follow this road straight into Hermanus. You will continue through Hermanus centre until you reach the outskirts of the business centre. Continue straight on. On your left side you will see a shopping centre called Gateway Centre. Do not turn off but carry straight on for another few kilometres until you reach traffic lights at the Sandbaai / Hemel en Aarde board. On the left you will see an Engen garage. Turn left at the traffic lights and continue as above directions from Cape Town.
