Marloth Park is a small town consisting largely of holiday homes, shops and services required to support the community. Marloth Park is situated next to the Crocodile River, which forms a portion of the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. There are no fences in Marloth Park allowing wild animals such as kudu, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, zebra, nyala, buffalo and giraffe and many more to roam about freely.
From time to time lion sightings are also reported and elephants often visiting the Crocodile River from the Kruger Park.
